Glossary of terms: Vmp Volts maximum power The modules optimum output voltage where maximum power can be transmitted to the load. Imp Current (I) maximum power The modules optimum output current where maximum power can be transmitted to the load. Voc Volts open circuit The modules output voltage under a no-load condition. Isc Current (I) short-circuit The modules output current into a short circuit. MPP Maximum Power Point The voltage and current levels where the modules produce the most power Rated Power = Imp X Vmp (expressed in Watts) |

UNI-POWER Module Features UNI-POWER modules are exceptional in performance and durability. The heart of the UNI-POWER module is the Triple Junction silicon solar cell unique to Uni-Solar. Each cell is composed of three semiconductor junctions stacked on top of each other for diverse light level absorption. This spectrum splitting capability is the key to higher efficiency and superior operation in low light levels. The cell junctions are deposited onto a stainless steel film encapsulated in UV stabilized EVA polymers and laminated to a Galvalume coated, steel backing plate. The modules feature a clear Tefzelฎ front covering. The unbreakable, non-glass module is bonded to an anodized aluminum frame for strength. Frame includes mounting holes. The US-64, US-42 and US-32 feature bypass diodes, weather resistant junction boxes with 1/2 NPT knock outs and carry a twenty-year limited warranty. The US-21, US-11 and US-5 carry a ten-year limited warranty and include an 8 cable. The US-3 features a built-in blocking diode and carries a three-year limited warranty. All are UL listed. |

|
Flexible Solar Battery Chargers Each UNI-SOLAR battery charger incorporates the same Triple Junction solar cell technology as the Uni-Power module. The flexible modules are exceptionally durable and are encapsulated in EVA and bonded and stitched to a cushioned, vinyl and foam backing material. The modules feature a clear Tefzelฎ front covering. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules (excluding USF-5) to produce power even when partially shaded. Blocking diodes are included in a small sealed junction box located at the top of the module. Each panel has 8 feet of cable with 2-pin SAE connector, and is packaged with a 2-foot fused battery cable. These modules carry a three-year limited warranty and are UL listed. |

UNI-PAC Portable Battery Chargers Extremely rugged UNI-PAC portable battery chargers are easy to carry and deploy and use Uni-Solars Triple Junction technology. The UNI-PAC can be dropped, stepped on, packed and redeployed, while continuing to operate. Military units, climbers and professional photographers depend on the UNI-PAC for field communications, emergency power and battery maintenance. The tough nylon fabric covering allows the unit to be folded to a convenient book size for easy storage and transport. Individual solar laminates contain bypass diodes. The UNI-PAC 10 offers dual voltage charging for 12V and 24V. |

Structural Standing Seam Designed for ease of installation, this solar panel is integrated into the roof following the specifications of conventional structural standing seam panels. System design and installation are made based on user needs. Standard junction box, termination on bottom or top.
Architectural Standing Seam They are reliable, attractive building-integrated PV panels, and are cost-effective design options for creating sustainable and energy self-sufficient buildings. Aesthetically pleasing, these panels are integrated into the roof following the specification of conventional architectural standing seam panels. Terminations are located on top of the panel under the ridge cap. No deck penetrations are required.

PV Shingles The flexible thin-film solar cell shingle blends into a roofing pattern of traditional asphalt shingles. The surface is textured to blend and complement the granular surface of the surrounding conventional shingles. Two, 12 long, 18-gauge lead wires exit from the underside of each shingle. Lead wires on backside of the head-lap pass through the roof deck to allow wiring connections to be made in the roof space. |
